I'm (sort of) sorry for this sudden burst of posts today. I don't know what's gotten into me. I think it must be this gorgeous weather we've been having, or the two cups of coffee I drank earlier, or the tons of old photos I found hiding in the dusty vaults of my Flickr account.
Lately tummy time for Henry has become one of his favorite activities. When he was a new baby it always looked a little like this (struggle, struggle, struggle, grunt, crrrrrrrry):
Now he's happiest propped up on those chubby arms of his, watching feet and cat paws pass by over and over and over. I'd like to say that I can't wait until he starts crawling, but that would be a lie because you seriously don't realize just how dirty your floors are until your baby starts laying on them.

Henry is the most photogenic baby I have ever seen! Those eyes. And, Allie, you are such a gifted photographer/artist. You see angles that most would never think of....AWEsome job.
stella used to LOVE tummy time, then i stopped doing it as much cause she always puked on her face. boo, now she hates it :(
Dena: Thank you so much! He is so fun to photograph, although it's getting trickier now that he's started moving so much all the time!
Melissa: Henry always gets a boogery nose after tummy time, he really hates that! Poor Stella!
awww, he's such a cutie-pie. I know what you mean about how dirty floors really are...especialy when you have cats! [I have 3!] =0
Baby Henry is just too cute!!!!
that's so cool that he likes to lay on his tummy. wyatt pretty much hated/still hates it. he's trying to crawl and if he ends up flat on his belly he gets so pissed. you're very lucky!
Bri: Cats are so messy, every gross thing sticks to their paws! I'm so glad we didn't end up getting a dog (we were so close!)
Jessica: Thank you!
Jess: I bet he'll be crawling so soon though! I didn't realize that babies get so frustrated by a position that to me seems so natural!
found your blog through paper mama! little henry is so cute :) i have never swept my floors more than after my baby girl got here :)
so cute! he has the sweetest little face!! how is the crib transition going?
hehe isn't it funny how incredibly fast things change with them. just you WAIT for when Henry can sit and play at the same time. :)))))
krissi: Thanks for taking the time to let me know you stopped by! I spent a good part of my early morning looking at your blog. So cute!
Katherine: thanks! i think the transition is going much better. we took him out of the crib and put him back into the bassinet in his room. he must feel so safe because he's sleeping well (like reallly well) again!
lovie's momma: I seriously am looking forward to that milestone. he loves sitting up now but can't do it on his own and it frustrates him.
He looks just like G in my opinion (not that anyone asked for it) What a photogenic little love you have. Crawling is fun for like a week and then you really miss the days when you could look away for one second without losing your baby. hahah
I was just thinking today... while laying on floor with babe... how nasty it is down there! Especially with the cats and dog leaving their hair everywhere. So much to put in a little mouth.
Ruari HATES tummy time.
paige: i completely agree! i noticed that even on the day he was born! oh wow i do not want h to start crawling any time soon...i'm not ready! ha ha.
Paper Mama: it's the cat hair that grosses me out the most too! and little babes love to put everything in their mouths! yukkk.
i love that first picture, it's super excellent
Thanks!
