Dear Henry

Dear Henry,

Thanks to your sudden decision to only sleep in two hour increments, last night I was able to watch Son of Rambo AND Beetlejuice at three in the morning. During one of your seven (seven!!) late night nursings I beat my previous Bejeweled score, caught up on everyone's Facebook status, snuck Garrison's trail mix, and memorized the number of blind shingles in your room (192. 192. 192. 192.)

While I really do enjoy movies, making mental lists, cell phone games, lalala...Will you puh-lease let me sleep tonight? Thanks, that'd be awesome.

Xoxo,
Mom.

Ps. I posted these pictures of you because I can totally hear my own mom saying, "Thank God you're cute...!"

I think it's great that you can still find humor in the lack of sleep, been there, done that! I hope tonight goes better for you!

Why, why, why do they do that?? My little guy has decided this was a great idea as well in the last few nights! Ugh! I've been enjoying your blog for a couple weeks now. Figured I should quit being a creeper and comment... Henry is such a cutie! :)

Oh Henry!! Why aren't you sleeping!? Too bad you and Bennett don't live closer together, or you could have 3am playdates - since B's decided to get up multiple times at night now, too. He he.
So sorry Allie! I know what you're going through. Hope you get more sleep tonight!

Fingers crossed for you dear Allie. Don't worry, he'll be turning that corner soon and sleeping through the night and you will be born again. Trust me, I have done this THREE times. Yeah, I'm a crazy lady.

Is someone teething? We have been breaking Story of her habits using a modified Ferber method. The first night was hell, but now she knows what's coming and saddles up her biggest cries right at the start, peetering out after one or two check in's, and eventually falls asleep sooner each night. Whenever we get off our schedule, we just start the process again. It has been like magic for us. But every baby is different. I will be watching to see what you two do to get through the night!
