When family visits we drop everything and live like nothing matters. I mean seriously, did you see how much food we ate? It was necessary for our survival because the city can be tough. You never know when you might have to run away from a couple of trolley horses escaping from their daily historic Savannah tour. Tough. 

Henry loved staying at the condo my family rented while they were here, mostly "swimming" in an empty jacuzzi tub in my grandma's bedroom. When we took him to the actual pool he got super excited and kept calling it "da Henry-sized pool". That night at dinner, the waiter handed him a kid cup and he said, "Danks! Dank you for da Henry-sized cup!" 

We loved having my little sister Carly stay with us, she's a really really neat kid. It's so cheesy, but I love watching her grow up. It was really hard to say goodbye to her, and I ugggly cried. In the airport. With a stuffed dog named spot and a juice cup in my hand. Nice. 

This is not related at all! So we're kind of? trying to catch the potty training bus (beep! beep! annoying mom idiom!). Henry informed me tonight as he sat on the frog that looks like a toilet, that his "weiner shoots out poop and pee-pee and stuff". Does he really think poop comes out of there? Is that why he's afraid to poop on the toilet? Haha. Ok. Enough. I'm done.

This morning I put Abbey Road on our record player and Henry came running out of his bedroom to listen. He stood by the speaker, watching the turntable and I said, "Henry! This is the Beatles!"

He turned, looked at me with a serious look, and replied, "I know dat, mom".

Charlie is our new cat, my birthday present from Garrison and Henry. This kitten is awesome! It sleeps curled up in-between us at night and let's Henry chase him around the house all day. I swear it even tries to play more gentle with Henry than it does with us. This month Henry's been learning the definitions of "STOP" and "SQUEEZING" and "ITS NECK" and learning how to play nice. He's also come to the conclusion that in comparison to Charlie, Bunz is "Not a nice kitty" and that he's "Berry tricky to hold!"

This Henry sized kitten is easier to hold.....

Garrison really wanted to go to a batting cage for Father's Day so we got a lot of quarters and drove to this little amusement park that ended up being even cooler than we had imagined. It was really fun! Henry was really into the "play till you win!" crane game that gives you a crappy piece of stale candy and a crappy plastic toy for JUST! a quarter. And the bounce house. As his feet left the ground all of three inches he'd laugh and yell, "I'm jumpin' like a monkey! I'm jumpin' up in da sky to da moon!" 

I think Henry really likes Mother's and Father's day because we basically do everything he wants.
