There are a ton of beautiful places in Savannah but the Wormsloe Plantation beats all of them. I accidentally discovered it last year when I was driving Henry around, hoping that he'd stop crying and fall asleep. You can't see the actual 1800's plantation home but there are gravesites, tabby house ruins, and a colonial village.
So before this post starts sounding like a middle school history report (oh. too late?) here are some pictures.
Supposedly this is also where the opening scene in Forrest Gump was filmed. Henry demonstrates:
